About me
Rubén Boldú
I started at Salobre Golf & Resort as part of the staff, the club's go-to handyman. The director of golf encouraged me to train as a clubmaker — probably one of the best decisions of my professional life.
I trained in England, the Netherlands and the United States, completing master craftsman courses with Golfsmith Europe and visiting the Callaway factory, the Scotty Cameron Gallery, and the academies of Jim McLean and David Leadbetter. In 2009 I brought TrackMan into the workshop — and everything changed.
Today I run the Fitting Lab Performance Center at Salobre Golf, Gran Canaria. I work with players at every level — from high handicaps to European Tour professionals — and with the Canary Islands Golf Federation. I'm a near-scratch player myself and hold the TPI Level 1 Golf Fitness certification.

Clubfitting
We analyze your real swing and impact parameters with TrackMan Dual Core — including putter fitting — to know exactly what your game needs.
Clubmaking
I build and assemble your club to measure, choosing with complete neutrality from hundreds of shafts, heads and grips across every brand — whatever suits you best.
Tune-up
I check and recalibrate your clubs: lie, loft and swingweight. With use, a seven-iron can stop performing like one — I make sure it keeps delivering.

Selection
We search among hundreds of shafts, heads and grips for what best suits your swing.
Assembly & fitting
I build and fine-tune your club — flex, lie, loft and swingweight — and verify it again with TrackMan.
